Peter Green Hall

Peter Green Hall (PGH) is an 112-unit apartment building built by the Halifax Student Housing Society (HSHS) in 1965.   PGH is owned by Dalhousie University and is leased by the HSHS.  The HSHS is a non-profit organization founded in 1965 by a group of Dalhousie students.    The goal of the organization is to offer married full time students a comfortable and affordable accommodation with a family atmosphere while attending full time studies at one of the local, degree granting, universities in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada.   The HSHS consists of members who are tenants at Peter Green Hall.

The building offers underground parking and storage, and is well situated between Dalhousie University Halifax campuses and Saint Mary's University.

PGH is the home of the Peter Green Hall Children's Centre (PGHCC).   PGHCC is a non-profit childcare centre dedicated to the education and care of young children.  PGHCC provides early learning and care to children aged 4 months to 10 years.   Childcare is offered to the surrounding community with priority given to HSHS members.
